Rachel Robinson

The yes-it’s-true-born-and-raised-in-Los-Angeles-because-someone-had-to-be Rachel Robinson’s voice spans the arenas of video games, animation, national commercials, promos and anime.

She is likely best known for her role as feisty L’Cie Oerba Yun Fang of Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 and Lightning Returns. She voices proud Protoss Vorazun, in the latest of Blizzard’s long-celebrated StarCraftII franchise, Legacy of the Void, as well as the nasty Goetia in Xenoblade Chronicles X. She is also Nova in There Came an Echo, a voice-controlled strategy game starring Wil Wheaton. Newer game roles include the Time Patroller in DBZ: Xenoverse; Serqet, Medusa and Awilix skins in Smite, and coming soon; The President in Bombshell. Additional noted roles (including but not limited to): Argonian Guildmaster Sees-All-Colors, Hagraven + ancillaries – The Elder Scrolls Online, Charr Rox Whetstone + ancillaries – Guild Wars 2, Celsius – Tales of Xillia (1 and 2), Holly Whyte – Bravely Default, Commander Nowak – Q.U.B.E.: Director’s Cut, Female Veteran – Defiance, Sara Sidle – CSI: Fatal Conspiracy, currently about 16 roles in Firefall, and a few new TBA games.

In anime, she has finally joined the extended One Piece family as Kikyo, from the Amazon Lily arc, voices Joel Raveau in Gangsta, the Chairperson in Riddle Story of Devil, and cranky dragon Motherglare in Fairy Tail. Just announced, Garak in Snow White with the Red Hair, on which she was also writing staff, and Izanami on Noragami 2. She is the voice of Farangis in The Heroic Legend of Arslan; and Angelica in Show By Rock!!, another co-writer project. She voices Ohgami in Danganronpa: The Animation, Haruka in The Rolling Girls, Commander in Nobunagun, Hitoe’s Mother in Selector Infected Wixoss and ; and Uncho Kan’u in Ikki Tousen.. Her known villains include Zorin Blitz in Hellsing Ultimate; Empress Megaria in Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, Cameran in Sailor Moon (Viz), Chizuru in Tokyo Ravens, and Misako in Psycho Pass II. Other warblings include Queen Elizabeth II – Hetalia: The Beautiful World; Lidvia Lorenzetti – A Certain Magical Index II, Yuki Mizushima – The Devil is a Part Timer!, LoriFree! Eternal Summer, various additional roles in Attack on Titan, Space Dandy, Tokyo Ghoul, Yurikuma Arashi, Blood Blockade Battlefront, Ultimate Otaku Teacher, Death Parade, and many other titles with more on the way. In other arenas, she has also voiced a couple of bitchy high school girls (American Dad!) and mismatched celebrities – namely, Pamela Anderson and Verne Troyer in Celebrity Death Match (same episode, different death matches), and does a mean Katharine Hepburn impression. Accurate mean, not mean-mean.

Rachel tapped into the world of ADR localization early last year as well; getting her feet wet with several episodes of Kamisama Kiss II; and was on the writing staff of aforementioned Show By Rock!! and Snow White with the Red Hair. She’s currently plugging away on another show, with more in the pipeline. She also freelance writes, sings, and paints. Portraits or walls.  She has a BFA from Syracuse University in Film, is a classically trained pianist, an excellent driver and knows the military alphabet.
